This organisation is part of a global medical market leader and specialises in designing and developing diagnostic devices for the healthcare industry. Although they have been established since 2007, they are rapidly expanding and have an exciting opportunity available for a Software Quality Engineer to join their team in Bedfordshire.

As the Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for providing quality management system expertise, facilitation and support whilst ensuring the company complies to ISO 13485 and CFR Part 820 standards. Other duties within this role will include:

- developing, establishing, improving and maintaining the Quality Management Systems
- Ensuring the organisation is trained compliant to regulatory and voluntary standards
- Reviewing and approving software project deliverablesand providing feedback where appropriate

The suitable candidate will have previous experience of working within a medical device environment in quality systems establishment and maintenance. Experience of working to ISO 13485 and CFR 820 standards is essential for this position. Previous leadership experience would be advantageous for your application.
