A leading scientific software house have a fantastic new opening for a Senior Computer Biologist to work on one of the most challenging scientific information problems that have been encountered this century.
This is an extremely exciting and varied role that will involve assembly analysis development and the maintenance of visualisation tools for genome assembly.

Skills
The successful candidate will ideally be a bioinformatician and you will have proven practical experience in a related field.
Knowledge of the following programming languages is essential to your application, Python, Java, Perl or C.
You must also have excellent Unix experience and familiarity with relational databases and will be able to script using Ensembl API.
Working experience of commonly used bioinformatics programs and algorithms will be highly beneficial for this role.
