Supplier Quality Engineer : Medical Device / Medical Devices : Gloucestershire : Supplier Quality Engineer

As a growing world leader specialising in developing, manufacturing and distributing medical devices this organisation is committed to providing orthopaedic devices to the healthcare market. Due to rapid expansion they now have an excellent opportunity for a Supplier Quality Engineer to join their already successful team.

As the Supplier Quality Engineer Manager you will be responsible for monitoring and reporting on the performance of key suppliers. Other duties within this role will involve:

- Maintaining and progressing supplier non conformances / records
- Conducting quality review meetings
- Developing close working relationships with key suppliers
- Introducing initiatives based on general supplier quality development / improvement

The suitable candidate will must be educated within a Mechanical Engineering or Metrology discipline and have previous experience of working within validation and inspection for medical devices. Experience of working to ISO 13485 standards is essential for this position.
