Quality Assurance Manager, Medical Devices, Medical Device, Cambridge, Deputy Quality Manager

This global consultancy has been established since 1986 and is a market leading specialist in technology management and product development for the medical industry. Some of their cutting edge products include Pharmaceutical, Diagnostic and Drug Delivery devices. Due to an increase in the client base, they now have an exciting opportunity for a Deputy Quality Manager to join their team of experts at the Cambridge site.

As the Deputy Quality Manager you will be responsible for managing internal bespoke quality management systems.

Other responsibilities will include:
- Communicating quality requirements and effectiveness to the organisation
- Identifying needs, coordinating and delivering quality management systems training
- Arranging management review meetings of the quality management Systems (every 6 months)
- Assisting in the planning and management of audits
- Producing Key Performance Indicators and trend data
- Being responsible for CAPA management
- Conducting customer complaint investigations
- Liaising with clients on quality related issues

The suitable candidate will have previous experience of working to ISO 13485, FDA and GMP standards within a medical device organisation. You will also have experience of implementing and operating a successful quality management system. Experience of working in a research and development environment (rather than manufacturing) is essential for this role.
