A World Leading Software House based in Cambridge have a fantastic new opportunity for a Software Engineer with excellent Java J2EE experience to join their hugely successful development team in developing high quality software solutions that will be able to support the development of their state of the art projects.
As an experienced member of the team you will have the knowledge and expertise to be competent in taking the lead in many aspects of developing, testing and documenting of software and be able to provide technical support and leadership skills to the team as and when required.
Being a skilled and experienced developer you will maintain high levels of expertise in all relevant areas and will mentor the junior members of the team.

Skills
The successful candidate will ideally have extensive experience in commercial software development;
Excellent hands on Java/J2EE experience is essential as is superb XML/XSLT knowledge and proven leadership and analysis experience.
A good understanding of IBM Websphere is highly desirable along with SQL, C++, UML, RUP and Oracle experience.
Fantastic communication skills are required as you will be working within a team and constantly liaising with your colleagues.
