A vibrant and thriving Medical Communications Agency based in Central London has the excellent opportunity for a bright, enthusiastic Editorial Assistant to move into a communications role. Reporting directly to the Editorial Manager you will be working as part of a growing editorial team providing support to one or more of the account teams.

As an Editorial Assistant you will be involved in liaison with all editorial staff and external suppliers and publishers. You will be responsible for researching background information for new and ongoing projects and prospective new clients and accounts, preparing reference packs for regulatory submission, conducting library and internet database searches, analysing data and preparing reports. The company specialises in providing communications materials across a variety of therapy areas. They are currently focussing on Diabetes, Neurology and Cardiovascular.

To be considered for the Editorial Assistant position you must be enthusiastic, motivated and eager to learn. It is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for more variety in the projects they work on and a fast paced agency life. You will have a scientific background : preferably at least a Bsc and some proofreading or copyediting experience gained in a similar environment or in Medical Publishing. Any experience within events such as Advisory Boards, Meetings and Symposia would be a distinct advantage.
