Development Engineer : Medical Devices : Wiltshire : Development Engineer

This global organisation develops and manufactures orthopaedic medical devices for the healthcare industry. Due to recent growth and expansion they now have an exciting opportunity for a Development Engineer to join their highly successful team in Wiltshire

As the Development Engineer you will be responsible for working on the product development for existing and new products. This role will also involve working with the continuous improvement team to look at ways of reducing costs whilst keeping the critical design features of the product intact. Another responsibility within this varied role will involve training hospital staff in reprocessing the decontamination units once they have been used.

Suitable candidates will ideally be educated to a Degree level (or equivalent) within an Engineering discipline. Experience of working as a Development Engineer within a medical device manufacturing environment is also required with previous project management experience. Experience of working with Orthopaedic products is highly desirable but not essential for this role.

This expanding organisation will provided the successful candidate with on going training and support to further enhance and develop their skills.
