A leading and rapidly expanding Med Ed agency based in Kent has the opportunity for an Account Director to join their enterprising team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Account Manager or Account Director to further their career in a forward thinking agency. You will predominantly work on psychiatry accounts although many other therapy areas are covered within this agency.

The Account Director position involves strategically promoting existing accounts and developing new business opportunities within these accounts. This will involve working closely with the Business Development team to create innovative pitch proposals to win new business. The company supplies effective communication programmes in the form of publications planning and organising congresses and meetings, so the majority of the programmes worked across will be in this area.

Suitable candidates for the Account Director position will have a life science background with experience of working with pharmaceutical clients in an agency or industry environment. Previous client handling skills would also be considered a distinct advantage, as would experience of working across publication planning projects and KOL liaison. Specific knowledge within psychiatry would be a distinct advantage.
